Alshon withdraws from CIBC Texas Open powered by TIXR
DALLAS, TX - Christian Alshon will not compete in the CIBC Texas Open powered by TIXR due to medical reasons, he announced in a social media post on Tuesday.
I am sad to say that I am pulling out of PPA Dallas due to medical reasons. This is the first tournament I’ve had to pull out of since I started competing almost two years ago! Thankful for the health I’ve had and look forward to returning stronger 💪🏼

The 23-year-old was set to play men’s doubles with Connor Garnett and mixed doubles with Etta Wright, his Texas Ranchers teammate in Major League Pickleball.
He also would have been going for his third consecutive podium finish in singles after earning bronze medals in Atlanta and St. George.
Alshon is not currently signed up to compete at next week’s Veolia Sacramento Open presented by Best Day Brewing, so it’s likely we’ll next see the ‘Tweener King’ in action at MLP D.C. set to take place June 13-16.
