
Devilliers withdraws from Vizzy Atlanta Open due to injury
PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA – Jay Devilliers withdrew from the Vizzy Atlanta Open due to injury on Thursday.
The Frenchman rolled his ankle in a Round of 16 singles match against Dylan Frazier.
“I’m doing my best to recover as soon as possible,” shared Devilliers. “I had to pull out of singles for Dallas [the next PPA event] for sure.”
Devilliers played mixed doubles alongisde Callie Smith later in the day, losing to Anna Bright and James Ignatowich, but he couldn't compete in gender doubles alongside Patrick Smith because of the injury.
